Watch LookMovie. In Lunch Poems (Remix), J dusts off VHS tapes recorded in 2017 with their friend and collaborator Miss Expanding Universe (Ashley Yang-Thompson). They remix them into a fiery manifesto and intimate video diary — a collage of poetic art adventures in the streets of New York. The film captures the raw energy of poets claiming the city, blending performance, diary, and queer rebellion. A hypnotic soundtrack of fragments sung by the poet threads the work together, creating a bold, immersive experience.
